Initial Consultation
Your first visit to Muirfield Homes will be informative, educational, and enjoyable as well. We will introduce you to our team and give you the opportunity to see our current projects. We’ll have a “brainstorming session” where you’ll be encouraged to share your ideas as our goal is to make you feel at home as you become part of the Muirfield family. Whether you’re coming to Muirfield Homes for a total Design/Build solution or bringing your own plans, we will sit with you and review your plans and offer helpful suggestions.
Design
The Design stage of your custom home is considered the “fun” stage. This is when you’ll bring all of your plans, ideas, clippings, and dreams to the table and we will work together to draw your home. Muirfield Homes proudly has the capabilities to create a full set of construction drawings and 3D renderings in the convenience of our Pawley’s Island office in order to give you a greater sense of how your luxury home will turn out. The most important tool for anyone designing their dream home is the ability to visualize their home in 2D as well as 3D before construction even begins.
Construction
Whether you’re already living in South Carolina’s coastal area or building your modern style home from out of state, you can rest assured that our team will offer you complete peace of mind. Over three-fourths of our clientele are out of state during the time of construction. Timely updates by email and/or phone conversations keep our clients informed and involved as we provide visual documentation by digital photographs of the progress. Watching this process by the photos helps you feel as if you were already there!
Closing
Our construction supervisor will spend a bit of time with you in your new home showing you how everything operates and answering any questions you may have. Once your new home is completed, Muirfield Homes will present you with a “Welcome to Your New Home” notebook complete with manuals and all necessary contact information.
Follow-up
Muirfield Homes will also do a courtesy check up after the first 6 months to make sure everything is operating smoothly and that you are happy with your new home. But these won't be the first, nor will they be the last times you hear from us. At Muirfield Homes, your home is never just "another house". Your home will always be a "Muirfield Home" and you will be a part of our family.
